Well has much changed in the past 2 weeks? Plenty! Not a lot of the stuff I posted about on NY Day though.
I've gone back to work after 5 weeks off sick after having a total thyroidectomy. I worked Tuesday night and just about survived. I've actually called in sick for tonight due to a sore throat and cough. We've all been ill and Thomas has croup. That was a big change, the first time my healthy little man has been quite poorly. He is on the mend now though, the Dr gave him a prescription for steroids and they have really worked. I knew he was really not well when he didn't even want to nurse, but he nursed last night and this morning as usual so :D
So with all this illness I think I may start my plans for change on Feb 1st!!
Another change is Jon has decided to go back to his old job, that that will bring a lot of change of it's own.

January 1st!
I want to make so many changes this year. I feel like I've become stagnant and waste so much time doing nothing. I look around my house and think of all the things I would love to do with it, I need to use space better, clear clutter, improve storage. I want to learn to use my sewing machine, learn to felt, and make button jewellery. Next Christmas I would like to be able to give more handmade gifts.
I want to start meal planning and waste less food, and bake cakes!
I need to spend less time online and more time playing with my children. I need to read my bible every day and speak to my Lord and Saviour daily too. I want my children to learn about Jesus by watching me.
I want to start swimming again, and for us to go for long walks as a family.
This Spring I want to start growing things in my garden so we can gradually become more self sufficient.
:)

Happy New Year
I'm off to bed so won't be seeing in the New Year but I intend to post much more on this blog of mine.
I've quite a few "resolutions" or hopes for 2011 actually.
Be back tomorrow.

Friday Fill-Ins
I've never done this before, but thought it would be fun.
1. My favorite month is July because it's my birthday month.
2. I love opening my windows to get a fresh breeze.
3. I love to sniff my baby's head.
4. Nutella is what I like to have as a treat for breakfast.
5. The hobby I enjoy most is sleeping
6. 77 sleeps til Christmas, oh my!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to going to bed, tomorrow my plans include helping out at the NCT nearly new sale and working tomorrow night and Sunday, I want to sleep!
Can you tell I'm fond of sleeping?

MTM!
Today is a grey, cold Monday and I'm already looking forward to bedtime!
Tommy is full of cold and struggling to eat and drink, thankfully he's sleeping really well though.
So, today is Muffin Tin Monday. I used the silicone heart shaped "tin", I don't use it much as the hearts are quite small but we used our new sandwich cutter and the sandwiches fit really well.
So, Ruby had Dairylea sandwiches cut into cars and boats and things, green grapes, blackberries, strawberry yogurt with star shaped sprinkles which we also got from our swap and finally 2 squares of Milka Happy Cow chocolate. She ate it all.

Muffin Tin Monday!
Yay, we're actually doing this on Monday! That's an achievement!
So, the cupboard is pretty bare here today, we've virtually no fruit. What we did have were 12 eggs that need using up in the near future, so I made egg mayonnaise sandwiches!
So, here's Ruby's muffin tin, she had egg mayo sandwich fingers, tomato segments, mini cheddars, a box of raisins and tinned peaches!

Muffin Tin Wednesday (part 2)
Well lunch was a big success! She loved it.
She had noodles, cheese, apple shaped bread and butter, strawberries, peach slices and a fruit sweets kebab on one of our new picks! Everything got eaten! She used to pink giraffe fork for her noodles and the blue dog fork for her cheese! So cute! Thank Sarah again for all the great stuff!
Not forgetting this cute face! He's 11 months now, how did that happen? We're on count down to his 1st birthday! :-O
