8 months today!

My baby boy is growing too fast. He turned 8 months old today, but in some ways it feels like only yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital.
After his sister's traumatic birth, his birth was so positive and healing. He has been a ray of sunshine in my life every day for the past 8 months. I just wish he would slow down a little, I'm not ready for him to grow up.

Muffin Tin Monday

Well we did MTM today for a snack. However it turns out MTM's Michelle's son broke his elbow yesterday so she has postponed MTM til tomorrow.
I'm going to post mine today though.

Ruby had a yellow gummy worm, a foam ice cream sweet, and a chocolate Easter bunny, Teddy bear crispies, apple, blueberries, cheese cubes and grapes. She really liked it and ate almost all of it. :)

Peace

Well peace is reigning here briefly! Jon is bathing the babies and I'm just enjoying the sound of silence, well not quite silence, the tumble drier is going but that's about it.
I'm really enjoying Spring, the sunshine is wonderful, hanging laundry out in the garden is wonderful, having time off work and getting jobs done around the house is wonderful! Just being together as a family and not being in a rush to go anywhere or do anything is wonderful.

:) / :(

:)

How therapeutic stripping wallpaper is.
A pretty beaded necklace made for me by Ruby.
Sunshine.
Washing dried outdoors.
Chips for tea.
16 more days off work.
Jesus loves me this I know :D

:(

My first coldsore in ages.
A badly bruised chin from where Tommy keeps headbutting me.
This cough that won't go away.

I like that the :) outnumber the :(

My beauties this morning

Excuse the dust, they just looked so cute lying there on the floor together. Little man is upstairs now taking a nap and I need to get my little lady dressed. :)

Muffin Tin Monday

So I've decided to try writing a blog. I'm not sure how good I'll be, but I thought it would be nice to have somewhere to document things that happen to our little family.

Anyway, I recently discovered Muffin Tin Monday and decided to give it a go today! Ruby loved it. I think it's such a clever idea!

Today the theme was All the colours of the Rainbow. Ruby had red tomatoes, orange grated carrot, sort of yellow chicken roll, green jelly sweets, purple grapes and rainbow sprinkles on her yogurt. She ate almost all of it apart from the grapes which she insisted we buy this morning, typical! :)
